Remote Support Technician

The successful applicant’s job duties will include providing prompt and professional remote support to our customers, focused primarily on desktops, servers and peripheral devices.  Examples include issues related to connectivity, backups, anti-virus, wireless, printing, setting up/disabling users in Active Directory and a variety of third party applications, and general end user support.

A 2- or 4-year degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related major is preferred.  Some industry experience, as well as industry certification (A+, MCP, MCITP, CCNA) is desired.  Candidates with suitable combination of education/experience will be considered.  Successful applicants must possess excellent interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, and be willing to learn at a rapid pace.  Salary will be commensurate with skills and experience.

Intellicom Computer Consulting, Inc., in conjunction with the University of Nebraska at Kearney, has developed a strong and comprehensive internship program.

This program is designed to compliment the excellent curriculum offered by the quality technology programs at UNK with hands-on experience.

Through well designed job descriptions, our interns gain exposure to real customers using the latest software and hardware technologies in nearly every kind of business imaginable. Each position is worth up to 3 credit hours towards their college education and is completed after 120 hours on the job.
