June 20, 2011Intellicom adds three employees Scott Sheldon – Engineer
Scott Sheldon returns to Intellicom as an Engineer. In this position, he will be responsible for implementing, supporting, and troubleshooting leading edge technology solutions for our clients across multiple vertical industries.
Scott was a Network Administrator at Becton Dickinson in Holdrege for the last year and half where he gained considerable leadership and management experience. Prior to that Scott worked for Intellicom for several years as a Senior Technician and Engineer. Before that, he was the Network Administrator for Morris Press and an Information Technology Technician for Good Samaritan Health Systems.
A graduate of the University of Nebraska at Kearney in 2004, Scott received his Bachelor of Science degree in Telecommunication Management. Scott has also earned his CCNA in Security certification from Cisco Systems and his Network + certification from CompTIA.
Scott lives in Kearney with his wife, Roz, and their three kids, Dylan, Ava, and Trace. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing the guitar, and watching and participating in sports.
Todd Herges – VP of Managed Services
Todd Herges joins Intellicom as VP of Managed Services. In this position, he will be responsible for supervising Intellicom’s Managed Service practice and their Helpdesk and will also have significant responsibility for compliance and internal IT.
Prior to joining Intellicom, Todd was employed for the past 12 years by Platte Valley State Bank. During his tenure at the bank, Todd held many positions of responsibility including management of the retail and technology functions. In addition, he oversaw multiple customer delivery channels including on-line banking, ATMs, phone banking, and personal service.
Todd attended the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign where he studied Liberal Arts. He moved to Kearney from Champaign in 1999 after a ten year career with Great American Bancorp. Todd is active in the Kearney community and presently serves as the president of the Kearney Library Advisory Board and as chairman of the Kearney Public Library Foundation. He also serves on the Board of Directors for Kearney Little League. He is a graduate of and past board member of Leadership Kearney and is member of the Kearney Sertoma Club. Todd was also ticket co-chair for the very successful 2010 Cattleman’s Ball of Nebraska.
Todd resides in Kearney with his wife Susie and their four kids, Abby, Robby, Jack, and Mark. In his spare time, Todd utilizes his USA Hockey Level III coaching certification by coaching in the Tri-City Youth Ice Hockey program. He also coaches a competitive youth baseball team.
Ann Pelster – Web Designer
Ann Pelster joins Intellicom as a Web Designer. In this position, Ann will be responsible for assisting the Intellicom Web team with day to day activity including creating new web-sites, updating content, working on graphic design, and other web design related tasks.
Ann graduated May 2011 from UNK with a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Multimedia and minor in Family Studies. Prior to coming on board full time with Intellicom, Ann worked as an intern for Intellicom in the Web department.
Ann grew up on ranch outside of Bartlett and enjoys reading, horseback riding, sports, and anything outdoors.
